Hannah turns 5 officially tomorrow, but we had her birthday party on Saturday. She loved it, although she is now wanting to know why she doesn't get another party. Her teacher told her that she isn't really 5 yet so she doesn't think she should have had the party yet, or at the very least, should probably get some more presents!! And, as awful as it is, I can't resist at least getting her something. Oh yeah, the new Ariel movie comes out tomorrow.... hhhmmm!

I made my first ever real birthday cake. Hannah wanted a "Tinkerbell" party, so the only available pan was of Tinkerbell's head. I was inspired by Sarah's cake decorating which is why I also had to call her half a dozen times while trying to purchase the right products for this project and then to actually tackle the decorating. When I was done, and during the forever process, I vowed that this was surely to be my first and last cake ever! It took such a long time!!
But then the end product turned out okay and Hannah loved it, so after a night's rest, I have reconsidered the possibility of making another cake, maybe for Jacob's birthday. Kevin's is too soon, but maybe by then I will be recovered!

Okay, I am still trying to figure out what I am doing with this blog thing... I am trying to attach pictures... I hope it works!
